A 24 hour curfew has been imposed on Madagali local government area of Adamawa state where heavy-armed suspected Boko Haram members were said to have attacked the L.G Secretariat on Saturday by the Adamawa government.
In a statement contained by the deputy permanent secretary, security and special service, Government house, Ahmadu Baji, “The curfew followed volatile security situation which caused loss of lives and property in the LG”. The government also appealed to citizens in the area to cooperate and observe the curfew strictly to ensure peace.
