Judge Sets Date For Oscar Pistorius Verdict

The end is finally near in the trial of paralympian, Oscar Pistorius.

Judge Thokozile Masipa announced that she would make her judgement on the much publicized case on the 11th of September.

The trial has had several delays, including one break for an evaluation of Pistorius’ state of mind.

Pistorius has said he mistakenly shot Steenkamp through the closed door of a toilet cubicle, thinking there was an intruder in his home. The prosecution alleges the athlete intentionally killed her after an argument.
